Production Engineer

This is a hands-on position focused on resolving day-to-day production issues, maintaining manufacturing documentation and ensuring production teams have the equipment and processes needed to work effectively. Info about what the Production Engineer role entails * Investigate and resolve day-to-day production issues. * Provide hands-on engineering support across manufacturing. * Maintain SOPs, work instructions and process documentation. * Support engineering changes, production trials and validation activities. * Assemble or modify workstations, fixtures and production equipment. * Update technical files and manufacturing information. * Work closely with Production, Process Engineering and Quality teams. * Contribute to continuous improvement and manufacturing projects. Essential Requirements of a Production Engineer: * A degree in a relevant engineering discipline. * Experience within a Production, Manufacturing or Process Engineering role. * Experience working within a product manufacturing environment. * A practical approach and confidence using basic hand tools. * Experience maintaining SOPs, work instructions or production documentation. * Strong problem-solving and communication skills. * Good computer literacy. Desirable Requirements of a Production Engineer * Electronics, electromechanical assembly or PCB manufacturing experience. * Experience within a fast-paced or high-volume manufacturing environment. * Engineering change, production trial or validation experience. * Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement knowledge. * Experience modifying production workstations, fixtures or equipment.
