Are you an experienced Controls Engineer looking for your next opportunity within a leading FMCG environment?

Our client is looking for a Controls Engineer to join their Glasgow-based team on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity to work within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, supporting automation and control systems while getting involved in continuous improvement and new projects.

What are we looking for?

• Proven experience in Controls Engineering within an industrial or manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of automation and control systems
• An engineering qualification or relevant technical training
• Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• The ability to work effectively with production and engineering teams
• A proactive approach to continuous improvement

What will you be doing?

• Designing, implementing and maintaining control systems across manufacturing processes
• Troubleshooting automation and control system faults
• Working closely with production and engineering teams to improve efficiency and reliability
• Supporting continuous improvement and improvement projects
• Identifying and resolving technical issues to minimise downtime
• Contributing to the ongoing development of automation and control systems
• Developing your career with the potential to progress into senior engineering or project management positions
