Personal Injury Paralegal – Cardiff
Salary: Up to £25,000

TSR Legal are delighted to be working with a leading national law firm who are looking to strengthen their Cardiff team with the appointment of a Personal Injury Paralegal.

This is an excellent opportunity for a PI professional looking to develop their career within a highly regarded national practice, with genuine scope for progression and increased responsibility over time.

The role will support a busy team handling large loss personal injury claims, so strong organisational skills, attention to detail and a genuine interest in complex PI work are key.

The Role

Working closely with the team, your initial responsibilities will include:

• Liaising with medical experts and Claimant solicitors to arrange and confirm medical appointments.
• Coordinating conferences with experts and Counsel.
• Preparing case bundles and supporting documentation.
• Reviewing medical records and preparing clear and accurate chronologies.
• Assisting with the progression and administration of complex personal injury claims.
• Maintaining accurate case records and ensuring key deadlines and appointments are diarised.
• Providing wider paralegal support to the team as required.

About You

The successful candidate will have previous experience within the personal injury sector, although experience specifically in RTA, EL or PL is not essential.

An interest in large loss and complex personal injury work would be particularly beneficial, as would experience supporting claims involving experts, medical evidence and Counsel.

We are also open to considering a strong Legal Secretary from a PI background who is looking to make the move into a Paralegal position, provided their current responsibilities include relevant tasks such as coordinating medical appointments, preparing bundles, liaising with experts and reviewing medical documentation.

You will need:

• Previous experience within personal injury.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• The ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Confident communication skills when dealing with solicitors, experts and other professionals.
• A proactive approach and willingness to learn.
• An interest in developing a long-term career within personal injury.
