Finishing Manager - Construction Build

RG Set Square are currently recruiting for an experienced Finishing Manager to join a construction project comprising both refurbishment and new build works.

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-focused professional who takes pride in delivering high-quality finishes and ensuring projects are completed to the highest standards, on time and in line with client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all finishing works across refurbishment and new build elements of the project.
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors, trades and direct labour on site.
• Carry out quality inspections and ensure all works meet specification and client standards.
• Produce, manage and close out snagging lists using handheld devices and reporting software.
• Take photographic records of defects, progress and completed works.
• Monitor progress against programme and ensure deadlines are achieved.
• Maintain excellent standards of Health & Safety across all site activities.
• Conduct daily site inspections and toolbox talks where required.
• Liaise closely with the Project Manager and Client team to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Drive quality control and promote a "right first time" approach throughout the project.

Requirements:

• Proven experience working as a Finishing Manager on construction build projects is essential for this role
• Experience on both refurbishment and new build Construction Build schemes is highly desirable.
• Excellent eye for detail and passion for delivering quality workmanship.
• Competent using handheld devices, tablets and snagging/reporting software.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple trades and subcontractors effectively.
• Thorough understanding of construction Health & Safety requirements.
• SMSTS, CSCS Card and First Aid qualification are essential for this opportunity
