About the role
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant who is passionate about nurturing pupils, to join our hardworking, supportive and friendly team.
For this post, the successful candidate(s) will be required to work part-time between 8.30am to 12.00pm - Monday to Friday.
This role requires working within a mainstream classroom setting, as well as with pupils who require 1:1 or small group support. It will involve working with a variety of pupils with varying needs, across the school. The ability to adapt to the ever changing needs of the school is essential. A 1 hour daily lunch duty (12.00pm - 1.15pm), which is paid at HB payscale, is also a requirement.
For any interested candidates, additional hours are available working in our After School Club, which operates Monday - Thursday 3.30pm - 5.30pm. This is currently paid at the hourly rate of £12.71 per hour.
Experience of working in mainstream, Primary Classrooms is essential. The experience of supporting children with Special Educational Needs, as well as knowledge of strategies supporting SEMH and behaviour, is desirable. All applicants should have a Maths and English GCSE Grade C (or above) or the equivalent.

This is a fixed term position until the end of the academic year, however there is a possibility for the contract to be reviewed and renewed.
