Overview:
Our client is looking for two proactive and highly motivated Multi-Skilled Operatives to join their Empty Homes team. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in preparing social housing properties for new tenants, ensuring homes are safe, fully functional, and ready to be re-let to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out a wide range of maintenance and repair works across empty (void) properties
• Ensure properties are turned around efficiently to meet re-let deadlines
• Complete all works to a high standard in line with building maintenance best practice
• Work closely with in-house trades teams, subcontractors, housing and lettings teams
• Carry out installations and repairs across multiple trades (e.g. carpentry, plumbing, tiling, basic plastering)
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with health & safety regulations
• Maintain a high level of customer focus when dealing with new tenants and stakeholders
• Contribute to delivering warm, safe, and welcoming homes for new residents

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a multi-skilled maintenance role within social housing or similar
• Strong ability across multiple trades
• City & Guilds or NVQ qualification in a relevant trade (preferred)
• Good communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong work ethic with an achievement-focused approach
• Full UK driving licence (essential)
