About the Role:

Are you a creative and passionate Art & Design specialist looking for a rewarding position in Mid Essex? A forward-thinking secondary school in Witham, supported by a prominent Multi-Academy Trust, is seeking a dedicated Art Teacher across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You will join a vibrant department featuring dedicated art studios, kilns, and printmaking facilities. The school places a high value on visual arts and regularly showcases student portfolios through local exhibitions.

Situated within walking distance of Witham train station, the school provides straightforward travel links via the A12 corridor from Chelmsford, Braintree, and Colchester.

What You Need:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential (ECTs and experienced teachers welcome).

• Specialism in Art & Design, Fine Art, Textiles, or 3D Design across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

• Strong classroom management and a focus on inspiring individual artistic technique and portfolio development.

• Valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
