Are you a skilled, experienced Level 3 Social Worker passionate about strengths-based practice, safeguarding, and supporting adults to live independently?

Trafford Council is recruiting motivated Level 3 Social Workers to join their busy, integrated adult community service. Offering a competitive pay rate of £35.00 per hour, this role provides an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality, person-centred social work across a diverse and challenging caseload.

Working within an integrated community team, you will support adults facing varied and complex situations, including long-term health conditions, dementia, hoarding, substance/alcohol misuse, and safeguarding risks. You will engage in preventative, outcomes-focused conversations to empower individuals while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary colleagues across health and social care.

• Strengths-Based Practice: Conduct person-centred, strengths-based assessments and interventions, securing funding in line with the Reshaping Trafford Policy.

• Safeguarding Enquiries: Lead and oversee complex adult safeguarding enquiries in compliance with the Care Act 2014 and local policies.

• Caseload & Crisis Duty: Organise and balance your own caseload while contributing to the team duty rota to manage urgent crisis interventions.

• Multidisciplinary Working: Build effective working relationships with health, multidisciplinary partners, and local services to ensure a joined-up community response.

• Peer Collaboration: Share workload responsibilities across the team, leveraging diverse skills, knowledge, and experience.

• Experience: Minimum 3 years post-qualifying experience in a statutory Adult Social Care setting.

• Level & Qualifications: Experienced Level 3 Qualified Social Worker with active Social Work England (SWE) registration.

• Practice Focus: Proven track record in strengths-based assessments, Care Act statutory duties, and adult safeguarding.

• Vetting: Full compliance required (3 years of verified references, full employment gap checks, and enhanced DBS).

• Competitive Rate: £35.00 per hour.
