Are you an experienced, ARLA-qualified Property Manager looking to join an independent estate agency whose business is rapidly growing?

We're recruiting for a well-experienced Property Manager to join a strong and supportive team in Romford. This is an excellent opportunity for an ARLA-qualified property professional looking to develop their career within an ambitious and growing business.

You'll have the opportunity to take ownership of a portfolio, work closely with landlords and tenants, and benefit from ongoing mentoring and clear career progression.

The Role

As a Property Manager, you will:

• Manage day-to-day maintenance and repair requests
• Order, coordinate and monitor repair works
• Liaise with contractors and manage contractor payments
• Ensure all property certification is fully up to date, including gas, electrical and EPC requirements
• Schedule, order and process mid-term inspections
• Keep the CRM system accurate and up to date
• Monitor rent payments, process rent and proactively chase arrears
• Provide ongoing support to landlords and tenants
• Build and maintain strong landlord, tenant and contractor relationships
• Handle calls and enquiries as part of the wider team
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver a high level of service
• Ensure compliance with relevant property legislation and regulations

Property Manager requirements:

• ARLA qualified
• Proven estate agency experience
• Previous property management experience
• Strong knowledge of the Renters' Reform Act and other key property legislation
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Positive, proactive and can-do attitude
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Professional and solutions-focused approach

Working Hours

• Monday-Friday: 8.30am-6.00pm
• Alternative Saturdays
• Day off in lieu following Saturday working
