Radiologist: Radiology Breast (Consultant)

We are currently seeking a Consultant Breast Radiologist to support a Breast Imaging service in the East of England.

This opportunity offers a 4+ month locum contract with an established weekly job plan incorporating breast clinics, multidisciplinary team meetings, breast ultrasound, assessment clinics, and breast screening film reading. It is ideally suited to experienced Breast Radiologists who are confident working within a specialist breast service and collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.

You will be joining an established clinical team, contributing to both symptomatic and screening services while supporting the continued delivery of safe, effective, and patient-centred care.

• Deliver high-quality diagnostic and interventional breast radiology services.
• Undertake breast imaging activities including ultrasound and screening film reading.
• Participate in breast assessment clinics and symptomatic breast clinics.
• Attend and contribute to Breast MDT meetings, supporting collaborative patient management.
• Work closely with surgeons, oncologists, nurses, radiographers, and wider multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain clear, accurate, and timely clinical records in accordance with NHS standards.
• Support service delivery while ensuring patient safety and best clinical practice.

• Full GMC registration with a licence to practise.
• Entry on the GMC Specialist Register for Radiology or equivalent experience.
• Significant recent experience in Breast Radiology within the NHS.
• Experience in breast imaging, assessment clinics, and multidisciplinary team working.
• Ability to work independently and as part of an established clinical team.
• Strong clinical judgement, communication skills, and professionalism.
• Valid Right to Work in the UK (please note we do not offer visa sponsorship).
