Malpas Alport Endowed Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, trauma aware and well-organised Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will work full time (32.5 hrs) within our Reception Classroom to support groups and individual children within the setting.
Our school is situated in the beautiful village of Malpas and has good links to the A41 and the A49. It is a 1.5 entry school with 270 children on roll including a 26 place nursery for 2, 3 and 4 year olds. Our staff are a caring team who thrive on positivity and kindness.
We are looking for a teaching assistant who has a level 2 or 3 TA qualification, is passionate about making a difference in the life of every child who they work with, has patience, kindness and understands a trauma informed approach to working with all children and adults. The role includes looking for opportunities to develop the curriculum through the environment and using initiative to make enhancements and develop an outstanding provision for all our children.
The successful candidate will liaise closely with parents and teachers in their team to ensure a cohesive and co-ordinated approach to the child's daily provision. They will have experience of working with children with additional needs, although training can be provided.

The successful candidate will support the safeguarding ethos of our school, which is a high priority and will be subject to enhanced DBS and reference checks.
