SEND Teacher – Integrated Resource Unit
Location: Maltby, Rotherham
Start Date: 1st September
Contract: Ad-hoc, day-to-day or longer-term
Pay: £160–£200 per day, DOE

We are seeking a dedicated SEND Teacher to work within an Integrated Resource Unit (IRU) attached to a mainstream primary school in Maltby.
The role involves planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons, supporting pupils with a range of SEND and additional needs, managing behaviour and working closely with Teaching Assistants and wider school staff.
The ideal candidate will:

• Hold QTS or equivalent.
• Have experience working with children with SEND.
• Be confident adapting learning to individual needs.
• Have strong behaviour management and communication skills.
• Be patient, nurturing and committed to inclusive education.
