Job Title PipefitterSummary We’re recruiting experienced Pipefitters for the Hinkley Point C nuclear new build project in Somerset. Renowned for quality and safety excellence, they play an essential role in this landmark nuclear development.ResponsibilitiesInterpret and apply technical drawings and specifications to plan and complete pipefitting tasks.Install, assemble, and test pipework systems to meet stringent project and regulatory standards.Inspect installed pipework for quality, integrity, and compliance.Adhere to all safety, environmental, and quality requirements.Participate in toolbox talks, daily briefings, and risk assessments.Report hazards, incidents, and non-conformances promptly.Work collaboratively with supervisors, QA/QC, and other trades to resolve technical queries.Maintain organised, safe work areas and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.Must-have RequirementsQualified via NVQ, City & Guilds, Apprenticeship or time-served (minimum 5 years’ verified experience in your trade).Holder of a valid CCNSG Safety Passport or willingness to obtain one.Extensive experience in installation, assembly, and pressure testing of pipework systems in industrial environments.Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and specifications.Strong awareness of nuclear safety culture and rigorous quality standards.Nice-to-have SkillsConnected Competence accreditation (Pipefitting discipline).Experience on major infrastructure or nuclear projects.BenefitsCompetitive hourly rates plus overtime premiums.Employer pension contribution (5%).25 days annual leave plus public holidays.Accommodation allowance and travel support where eligible.On-site medical and occupational health services.Long-term work (expected 2+ years) on a flagship UK project.Additional daily bus and park-and-ride allowances.Apply Now If you’re a skilled Pipefitter with proven experience in complex pipework systems, join the team delivering one of the UK’s most notable engineering projects.
