Production Operative

We are currently recruiting for a Production / Assembly Operative to join a well-established manufacturing company based in Ferndown.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a long-term position within manufacturing.
Previous assembly experience would be beneficial but isn’t essential, as full training can be provided. We are looking for someone reliable, practical, and comfortable working with their hands.

Duties will include:

• Basic assembly of products and components
• Using basic hand and power tools
• Following simple work instructions and drawings
• Preparing components ready for production
• Checking finished products for quality
• Packing and labelling completed items
• Keeping your workstation clean and organised
• Working as part of the wider production team
• Following all health and safety procedures

The ideal candidate:

• Previous production, manufacturing, warehouse or assembly experience would be advantageous
• Confident carrying out practical, hands-on work
• Good attention to detail
• Able to follow instructions accurately
• Reliable with good attendance and timekeeping
• Happy working in a busy production environment
• Looking for a long-term opportunity
