Our client is a leading Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) organisation delivering major energy and infrastructure projects across the UK. They are committed to setting industry standards in safety, quality and innovation.
Responsibilities

Carry out commissioning activities on control and instrumentation systems.
Conduct loop checks, function tests, and system verification to ensure compliance.
Review design documentation and provide commissioning input during project phases.
Develop and execute commissioning plans and procedures aligned with project requirements.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during the commissioning phase.
Prepare and maintain accurate reports and documentation for project records.
Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and clients to meet commissioning deadlines.
Ensure all activities adhere to safety standards and quality requirements.

 
Must-have Requirements

Proven experience commissioning control and instrumentation systems.
Strong understanding of DCS, PLC systems, and associated field instrumentation.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
Knowledge of commissioning processes, safety regulations, and testing protocols.
Degree or HNC/HND in Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering, or similar discipline.

 
Nice-to-have Skills

Familiarity with major EPC project environments (oil & gas, energy, or process industries).
Experience with calibration tools and fieldbus systems.
COMPEX or EC&I certifications.
