Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Sales Administrator to join a distribution business based in Basingstoke. This will be a fully office-based position on a temporary to permanent contract.
Responsibilities as a Sales Administrator
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person in a timely and professional manner.
- Resolve complaints and issues efficiently, escalating where necessary.
- Process orders, quotes, enquiries and returns in a timely and accurate manner.
- Support the General Manager with daily operational tasks including data entry, reporting, and document management.
- Support the General Manager with full conformance to all statutory and regulatory branch requirements, such as Health and Safety and FORS compliance.
- Complete general administrative tasks.
Requirements:
- Previous sales administration experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Including Excel)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure
The Role:
- Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm (with a 1 hour lunch break)
- £13.45 per hour (£27,979 per annum)
- Temp – Perm position
