Synergy Personnel Services is partnering with a highly regarded, fast-growing national legal services provider to appoint a Senior Associate or Partner-level Dispute Resolution Solicitor to join its established team in  Nottingham.

This is a senior opportunity for an ambitious litigator to take on a strategic role within a nationally recognised disputes practice, advising a diverse client base including corporates, SMEs, and high-net-worth individuals.

The Opportunity

You will join a respected dispute resolution team handling a broad spectrum of contentious matters. The team is known for delivering commercially focused and pragmatic advice, supporting clients through disputes across both business and personal contexts.

Work typically spans a wide range of litigation areas including commercial disputes, property litigation, professional negligence, and debt recovery, with a strong emphasis on achieving early and cost-effective resolution where possible through negotiation or alternative dispute resolution.

At Partner level, this role offers a genuine opportunity to influence the growth and direction of the practice locally, supported by a strong national platform and client base.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading on a broad range of dispute resolution matters, including:
  • Commercial and contractual disputes
  • Property and landlord & tenant disputes
  • Professional negligence claims
  • Shareholder and director disputes
  • Debt recovery and general litigation
• Advising clients on dispute strategy, including litigation, arbitration, and ADR
• Managing complex and high-value cases from inception to resolution
• Acting as a trusted advisor to clients, delivering clear and commercially focused guidance
• Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers
• Driving business development initiatives and strengthening client relationships
• Contributing to the growth and strategic direction of the  Nottingham office

About You

• Qualified Solicitor (or equivalent) in England & Wales
• Significant experience in dispute resolution / commercial litigation
• Strong technical expertise across a range of contentious matters
• Proven ability to manage complex caseloads and deliver strategic advice
• For Partner level: demonstrable business development capability and a following or clear growth strategy
• Excellent communication, leadership, and client relationship skills
