You will oversee programme performance, manage principal subcontractors, lead project teams, drive commercial and operational outcomes, and ensure alignment with client requirements and investment targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to required quality standards.

  • Develop strong relationships with clients and senior management teams.
  • Deliver projects against key milestones and investment targets.
  • Ensure design is progressed to support programme requirements.
  • Ensure suitably skilled resources are identified, sourced and available for project delivery.
  • Maintain strong relationships with wider business functions to support project delivery.
  • Ensure defects are identified, recorded and closed out in a timely manner.
  • Lead incident investigations in conjunction with SHEQ teams.
  • Drive efficiency and productivity improvements across delivery teams.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Knowledge and experience within the water, construction or utilities industry is essential.
  • Proven track record in managing construction teams and frontline managers.
  • Proven experience delivering projects within a complex infrastructure environment.
  • Strong understanding of project controls, cost management and programme delivery.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience working within regulated utility environments.
  • Experience delivering water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
  • Experience working across major capital investment programmes.
