Assembly Fitter – Telford, Shropshire 

Up to £13.50 per hour (DOE)
45 hours per week – Overtime Available

Are you a skilled assembler, joiner, carpenter, fitter, or vehicle technician looking for your next opportunity?

We’re recruiting a Assembly Fitter to join a well-established manufacturer in Telford. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business that offers long-term career progression, regular overtime, and the chance to work on specialist vehicle builds.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Measuring, cutting and fitting components within commercial vehicles
• Working from technical drawings and assembly instructions
• Using hand and power tools, including drills, spanners and other workshop equipment
• Completing production and quality documentation accurately
• Following health and safety procedures at all times
• Supporting the build and conversion of specialist vehicles as part of a skilled production team

What We’re Looking For:

• Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
• Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing, joinery, carpentry, woodworking, or fitting
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Experience with woodworking equipment, band saws, nail guns, or CNC wood routing machinery would be advantageous
• Previous vehicle, campervan, commercial vehicle, or automotive fitting experience would be highly desirable

• Strong attention to detail and a positive, can-do attitude

  
  

Hours & Benefits:

• Monday to Thursday: 7:00am to 5:00pm
• Friday: 7:00am to 3:00pm
• Overtime paid at time and a half after probation
• Internal progression opportunities available
