Join a major energy project focused on decommissioning and carbon capture as a Field Architectural Building Engineer. Based at Point of Ayr (Talacre), this role is ideal for professionals with architectural engineering experience across oil & gas, industrial, or commercial projects. Full-time, 5.5 days per week
IR35 Status: Outside
Contract: 12 monthsClient Overview
Our client is delivering a large-scale decommissioning and carbon capture project, requiring strong technical expertise and coordination across multiple engineering disciplines.Responsibilities
Review client technical documentation and requirements, and maintain project technical files
Coordinate architectural engineering subcontractors and review their design works
Manage design specifications and coordinate architectural and structural designs of building modules onsite
Support structural aspects and material selection to ensure building integrity
Prepare design specifications for architectural works and assist with civil works specifications
Develop functional architectural layouts based on multidisciplinary inputs
Define material specifications and architectural basis of design for onsite buildings
Support procurement with technical interactions with architectural vendors
Must-have Requirements
At least 5 years’ experience in architectural building activities within construction site projects for oil & gas, industrial, or commercial sectors
Solid technical skills in material management, architectural documentation review, and client liaison
