Rate: £22.00 per hour Umbrella / £16.45 per hour PAYE
Shift: 5 on / 4 off – Rotating Days & Nights
Hours: Average 40.5 hours per week

Support a Major Defence Aviation Operation

Morson Edge is looking for a Warehouse Driver / Forklift Operator to join a busy aerospace and defence operation based at RAF Brize Norton.

Working within a Part 145 aircraft maintenance environment, you’ll support the safe and efficient movement of aircraft parts, equipment and materials across the operation.

This is a hands-on logistics role combining warehouse duties, forklift operation and vehicle driving, making it particularly suited to candidates with experience in warehousing, logistics, aviation stores, material handling or supply chain operations.

Shift Pattern

You’ll work a 5 on / 4 off rotating shift pattern, covering:

• Days: 07:00 – 19:00
• Nights: 19:00 – 07:00
• 12-hour shifts
• Average 40.5 hours per week across the year

The Role

You’ll work as part of the warehouse and logistics team supporting day-to-day aircraft maintenance operations.

The position involves everything from receiving and moving aircraft components to operating forklifts and company vehicles, preparing materials for dispatch and ensuring stock is handled in accordance with the requirements of a regulated aviation environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate company vans up to 3.5 tonnes and forklifts safely and efficiently
• Transport aircraft materials, components and equipment around site
• Support designated off-site collections and deliveries where required
• Load, unload, pack and handle aircraft components
• Carry out daily vehicle and forklift inspections
• Support warehouse stock movements and general material handling
• Ensure documentation is completed accurately before packing and dispatch
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised warehouse environment
• Work in accordance with Part 145 procedures and quality requirements
• Support Foreign Object Debris (FOD) prevention activities
• Report vehicle defects, quality concerns and process issues
• Support Warehouse Management with wider operational requirements

Skills & Experience

We’re looking for candidates with:

• Full UK driving licence and a clean driving record
• Valid Forklift Licence, or willingness to obtain one
• Previous warehouse, logistics or supply chain experience
• Experience operating forklifts and company vehicles
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Strong attention to detail
• A safety-focused approach to material handling
• Basic computer literacy
• Ability to safely lift and move materials
• Flexibility to work rotating days and nights

Previous experience within aviation stores, aerospace logistics, Part 145 or another highly regulated environment would be advantageous.

Security Requirements

Candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain the required security clearance and successfully complete applicable background checks, vetting and drug screening.
