If you are an accomplished Senior Practitioner or current Deputy Manager ready to step into a high-impact leadership role, we want to hear from you.
We are currently partnering with a prominent, specialist provider of children's services in Cupar that supports young people navigating complex social, emotional, and behavioural challenges. Our client is a leading organisation dedicated to creating safe, nurturing environments where young people can overcome early trauma and thrive.
The Opportunity: Why This Role?
This is not just a management position: it is a chance to shape the culture of a dedicated service. You will work alongside a passionate team to drive clinical excellence and ensure the highest standards of care.
Competitive Remuneration: A salary of £40,019 per annum based on a 40-hour week.
Stability and Growth: A permanent, full-time leadership position within a robust and growing organisation.
Professional Influence: Take a lead role in mentoring staff and maintaining rigorous National Care Standards.
Comprehensive Benefits: Access to employee discount schemes and industry-leading professional development.
Your Role and Responsibilities
Provide strategic leadership to ensure the delivery of high-standard, 24-hour care.
Oversee the support of service users dealing with emotional behavioural difficulties (EBD) and trauma-informed needs.
Champion the independence of young people by facilitating access to education and community-based activities.
Uphold professional boundaries and ensure the service consistently meets or exceeds regulatory requirements.
Manage and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to foster a safe, therapeutic environment.
Maintain a flexible approach to leadership, supporting the service across various shifts and holiday periods as required.
What We Need From You
Experience: A proven track record in a senior or supervisory role within a residential childcare setting.
Qualifications: SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (Children and Young People) is essential, with a willingness to work toward Level 4 or management qualifications.
Registration: Must be registered with the SSSC (or eligible for registration) and the PVG scheme.
Mobility: A full UK driving licence is highly preferred to support the needs of the service and the young people.
Leadership Style: Strong interpersonal skills with a proactive "can-do" attitude and the ability to inspire a team.
