Theatre Teamleader/Senior

Salary: £40 – £50 Per Hour

Secure Healthcare Solutions is seeking an experienced Theatre Team Leader  to join our insourcing theatre teams. 

This role offers the opportunity to lead across a range of surgical specialties, supporting the delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centred perioperative care.

You will play a key role in coordinating theatre activity, supporting multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring efficient, safe patient flow throughout the perioperative pathway.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership across theatre environments, including Scrub, Anaesthetics, and Recovery
• Coordinate theatre lists, ensuring safe and efficient patient flow
• Support and supervise theatre staff, providing guidance during procedures
• Maintain high standards of perioperative care throughout the patient journey
• Monitor patient safety and escalate concerns when required
• Support clinical assessments, care planning, and accurate documentation
• Ensure adherence to infection prevention and control standards
• Contribute to audits, service improvement, and maintaining quality standards

• Promote a professional, organised, and collaborative team culture

   

Requirements

• Valid NMC or HCPC registration
• Minimum 3+ years’ recent theatre experience
• Previous senior or leadership experience within a theatre setting
• Experience across multiple theatre disciplines (Scrub, Anaesthetics, or Recovery) is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of perioperative care and theatre processes
• Confident decision-making and ability to lead in high-pressure environments
• Excellent communication and team coordination skills
